Helen graduated from The Middlesex Hospital, London in 1992 with a diploma in Physiotherapy and then completed a further diploma in Academic & Sports medicine.
Helen has a wealth of clinical experience and enjoys treating patients of all ages with a wide range of complaints including acute and chronic low back pain, work- related injuries or complications of poor posture, sports injuries and headaches.
She has a hands on approach to Physiotherapy and wants to look after the physical and psychological aspects of a patient’s health. She has a keen interest in the neck & upper limb but also enjoys the management of low back pain including teaching the use of Pilates exercise.
She has worked at Cranfold Physical Therapy Centre since 2008, using a wide range of Physiotherapeutic techniques including joint mobilisations, soft tissue massage, muscle energy techniques and ultrasound therapy.
Helen is a qualified APPI (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute) Instructor and uses Pilates to help all age groups recover from injury and pain which provides safe exercise programmes for patients to use at home. Her classes are in small groups to allow for a friendly and supportive approach and are open to everyone. She now offers specialist 1:1 classes for those recovering from injury or operations or for those wanting a more focused session.
Helen is married with two children and enjoys time with her family, 3 dogs, being active, getting outdoors and having fun!
